Hannah's season started on the other side of the Atlantic racing the opening round of the World Cup at 'Cross Vegas continuing to train she travelled North East to race on the Eastern Seaboard.
Bruce’s first races of the season started in the typical Indian Summer under sunny skies.
Sadly this wasn’t to be the theme of the season as it became one of the wettest Winters on record.
We saw some fantastic high’s this season with Hannah taking a top 10 at Koppenberg 'Cross, punching the air with emphatic victories at the first two rounds of the British Cyclo-cross series setting the stage for the rest of the season where she would take overall honours.
It was also time this year for Bruce to take his turn on the top step of the podium winning 3 National A league races in the UK as well as 5 other podiums and a strong showing at the National Elite Mens Championship where he took a top 25 position.
It was a crash on the washboard of the Azencross at Loenhout in Belgium that saw Hannah injured and side-lined for the National championships, where in the end she could not compete however she supported Bruce and met fans.
Luckily though the season was a wet one the support we had was fantastic from riding the bikes designed to cope with racing in deep mud from Kinesis UK, to the Gore-Tex jackets we trained in from Gore Bike wear to the matching helmets worn and the natural fuels we used from Clif Bar.
The journey to the World Champs was a key team aim this year and it was a proud moment to be the only metal bike on the front line of the Cyclo Cross world champs.
Hannah did us more than proud riding to 12th place in the historic first Under 23 women’s race.
With HUGE thanks again we were powered this season by:
