Cyclist - Kinesis G2 review
The Kinesis G2 is the brand’s most versatile adventure gravel bike, taking inspiration from its popular Tripster AT and ATRs.
Kinesis is largely known as a frame distributor, with the G2 the only gravel bike available to buy as a full build. Starting out originally as a fork maker under the parent company of Upgrade Bikes, Kinesis evolved into a frame manufacturer and subsequently branched out into complete bikes.
The G2 was derived from the original Tripster geometry, but has incorporated a shorter head tube and chainstays with the aim of giving the bike a nippier feel, while still embodying the adventure ethos, with decent tyre clearance and mounts for mudguards (fenders) and panniers.
