Watch: Dorset Gravel Dash 2024

The Kinesis UK Dorset Gravel Dash offered two different events on the same route on an action-packed and delightful weekend on 25/26 May 2024. Riders could choose the one-day 100-mile challenge, or the more leisurely two-day trip complete with overnight camping. Hazard a guess at which route we opted for.

This cycling event has roots that go way back – Gravel Dash was the first gravel event in the UK, and is the perfect way to experience the rugged beauty of Dorset and the Jurassic Coast with fine gravel riding, camaraderie and castles. Starting and finishing at a pub in Swanage – a seaside town also hosting a pirate festival at the same time – the two-day adventure takes riders of all types on a beautiful and wildly varied route around Dorset.

At just over halfway round riders roll into the Gravel Dash campsite complete with fresh hot food, good times, and Jules the friendly farmer with his bar in a horsebox – and a cheese contest. Join us as we roll out with a host of like-minded folks on the Kinesis Gravel Dash weekender.
