Introducing the new Kinesis R2 – a modern road frameset designed for riders seeking a balanced blend of speed and versatility.

Drawing on two decades of aluminium frame design, we crafted the R2 with a lightweight double-butted 6061 alloy tube blend, delivering a responsive and agile ride. High-quality alloy frames offer superior ride quality compared to lower-end carbon frames.

Our meticulous weld quality and attention to detail are standard. The internal down tube cable routing keeps the R2 looking clean and makes servicing practical. The custom full UD carbon fork at the front minimizes weight and dampens road vibrations while maintaining precise and responsive handling. Additionally, rack and guard mounts enable year-round riding, and the frame provides ample clearance for larger tyres with full guards.

A lot of aluminium models at this price are race bike wannabes, the R2 just isn't like that. It's quick, sure, but it's also designed to be functional and easy to live with, and you'll really appreciate that in the long term.

I was impressed with the R2… well finished and the combination of its dynamic frame, swift yet stable handling adds up to a very versatile bike.

It would make a great commuter/weekend warrior, a machine with sporty handling that’s just as capable of taking you on tour as it is doubling up as an exciting winter trainer.

Superb on-road manners; handling; value… a good looking, versatile and smooth-riding bike at a great price.
