Martin Gibbs Fernweh Build
Kinesis Ambassador and our warranty and customer service lead Martin, recently built up a pre-production Kinesis Fernweh frame with drop bars for summer riding on the North Downs and beyond.
We love the build which includes the Fernweh Columbus Adventure fork, a Shimano drivetrain and brakes, with a Praxis crank, Thomson bar and stem, Reynolds wheels and Vittoria tyres, topped off by some quality Kinesis reflective bar tape.
It's a beauty and we anticipate that Martin's going to have a lot of great rides on it!
Last year Martin rode the South Downs Way with a friend and teammate who also wants to ride the North Downs Way.
"Then we thought about putting the Cantii Way, King Alfred's Way on my to-ride list as well as for some longer trips, including some European jaunts.
I thought that building a drop bar Fernweh would be great for all and be a fun bike for in between my road race calendar."
