FF29 features a length based sizing system. Depending on how you like your fit, you can size up or down to according to reach. Thanks to the small seat tubes and long dropper posts - each size accommodates a wide range of riders.

FF29 FRAMESET SRP £600
The FF29, initially launched in 2012, garnered multiple magazine reviews and awards. For 2024, it's been re-designed and re-introduced – longer, lower, and faster. Our modern hardtail bike comes with updated geometry, new aluminium tubing technology, functional external cable routing and is packed with trail-focussed features. The frame is sized by reach and is designed to be used with a dropper post. Complete with a 65.5º head angle and steep seat-tube, the all-new FF29 remains nimble and agile for singletrack riding, ideal for all-day hard-charging descents and goat-like climbing. With its long, low, and stable design and generous reach numbers, the FF29 lives up to its reputation as Furiously Fast.

X-FUSION MCQUEEN HLR 140mm FORKS SRP £650
The FF29 kit comes with the new X-Fusion McQueen 34 29"/27.5+ HLR Boost fork, prioritising stiffness without adding excess weight. Weighing just over 2100 grams, the McQueen offers an exceptional stiffness-to-weight ratio. The Roughcut Damper provides high and low-speed compression and rebound damping adjustment, making these forks plush and responsive on the trails.

The Stans Arch S2 wheelsets are designed to handle a variety of riding conditions and are an ideal upgrade for Trail, AM, Enduro, and even eBikes. Featuring Stans Patented Bead Socket Technology, these wheels offer easier tubeless inflation and enhanced confidence on the trail. The 6061 aluminium Arch rims, with a reinforced, spoke bed, eyeletted spoke holes, and a reliable sleeved joint, ensure durability and toughness. With a 28mm width, these wheels offer excellent cornering performance with 2.2-2.5" tyres.

In 2012 we launched the FF29 and it went on to win multiple magazine reviews and awards. For 2023 the FF29 is re-born — longer, lower, meaner but still furiously fast. Geometry has been bought bang up to date, the custom framebuild utilises all-new tubing technology and it comes brimming with features designed for UK trails.

Working with Kinesis Taiwan for nearly 30 years gives us unique access to the best know — how in the aluminium frame industry. We can develop a mountainbike frame tuned to the needs that we want as riders – giving the ride quality we enjoy while combining stiffness and durability at the lowest possible weight. We have also designed the FF29 with adjustable dropouts so that riders can optimise the rear stay length for their style of riding. This also allows setting the frame up as a single speed.

The FF29 is long, low and stable with a steep seat tube and long reach numbers — the frame is sized by reach, and is designed for use with a dropper post.

It's slack but this bike is no slacker — with a head angle of 65.5º, you get a nimble, agile feel at the bars for singletrack hacking. We wanted an all-day hard-charging fully-capable 29” hardtail bike based around a 140mm fork, the sort of bike most of us ride here on the South Downs. Great for climbing and seriously fast for the descents – just how a hardtail should be.

The FF29 uses Kinesis’s advanced SPF — Super Plastic Forming. Most manufacturers use hydroformed tubes, but with SPF we can create lighter aluminium tubes and more intricate shapes that will build into a lighter and stiffer frameset.

Geometry designed for every ride — The FF29 is long, low and stable with a steep seat tube & long reach numbers. Despite this, it’s not ‘slack’ or slow handling thanks to a head angle of 65.5º providing a nimble/agile feel at the bars for singletrack hacking.

Flexible setup — Horizontally adjustable dropouts allow you to fine-tune the FF29’s chainstay length for how you ride, with the added benefit of single-speed capability.

Size by Reach — Choose a size based on your riding style and fit preference rather than your height.

Easy external cable routing — Externally routed cables make servicing easy and allow the use of a full-length outer cable to ensure your FF29 will run through a UK Winter.
