What is it?
This is the first iteration of the race. It will see riders take on a 4000km challenge, unsupported as they tackle the route taken by the Carthaginian general, Hannibal. He led 38 elephants and other forces across Europe during the Second Punic War.
Where is it?
The riders in this first edition will start the journey in Southern Iberia as they trace Hannibal's route to the finish in Southern Italy. Riders will travel over 4000km and climb more than 40,000 ms. It will be raced predominantly on roads through Spain, France and Italy. A real adventure and test of endurance.
When does it start?
The riders will commence at 0900 on 20.07.24 with the aim of reaching the finish on the 03.08.24.
