From the Classics to the countryside

Looking to under-take different challenges, Cav was drawn to many of the UK's iconic sportives. This encouraged the cycling bug and led to many more adventures including many of the Spring Classics, L'Etape and La Marmotte and culminating in riding for Team GB at the amateur World Road Championships in Denmark. Nowadays it's about the longer rides, multi-day adventures and bike-packing races.

Back with a purpose

Cav has bagged plenty of miles over the years, spurred on by hitting various goals and that sense of freedom that a bike gives you. Now after moving house and jobs it's time to get back in the saddle with enthusasim and purpose. 2024 plans are falling into place with the Dorset Gravel Dash, an Everest attempt and the Solstice Sprint for starters. Future goals are being considered but in the meantime he'll be found riding his GX Race.
