Our brand-new Kinesis 4S frameset is a thoroughly modern aluminium road frameset designed for those who seek a balance between speed and adventure and a traditional silhouette. We've taken our acclaimed Kinesis R1 frameset and worked hard to improve every detail to improve every ride.
The all-new 4S frameset features the same proven frame and fork as our highly praised, group test-winning R1 bike which Cycling Plus magazine proclaimed had "Understated class and excellent ride quality" and BikeRadar.com said had “instant zing when pressing the pedals". The lightweight double-butted premium 6061 aluminium tube blend provides a responsive ride feel, and the impeccable weld quality and attention to detail ensure high standards. Additionally, the internal down tube cable routing keeps the bike clean and easy to service.
The custom full UD carbon fork reduces road buzz and offers precise handling, while the Kinesis Rider Fit Geometry ensures comfortable all-day rides. With four sizes to choose from, finding the perfect bike fit is made simple.

Evolution in design – Two decades of frameset design have taught us to never stand still and question everything we see and do, to make a better product for riders – what worked ten years ago may not be suitable for today's rider, so we are constantly evolving.
The perfect fit – This has led us to our new Kinesis Rider Fit Design process, a semi-sloping frame on the smallest bike, which has not only reduced the stand-over height but has also brought comfort in line with our larger models. Short chain-stays alongside this revised position give the new 4S outstanding road bike characteristics.
