Stu finds his inspiration through people and cycling. Nothing makes him happier than engaging with people of all backgrounds and abilities. Cycling is never far from his mind and with that brings great opportunities to experience new things, travel to new places and meet new people.

A Daily Adventure

In June 2023, Stu cycled from Land’s End to John o’ Groats, self supported over 10 days, covering 1025 miles, raising money for the National Autistic Society after his wife, then aged 38 found out she was autistic. This was Stu’s toughest cycling challenge to date, not only physically, but mentally and this experience has left him feeling very humbled and grateful by all the support he received from the people he knows, the people he never met and all the small businesses who supported him throughout the challenge.

My Audax Ride (133 miles)

Stu completed his first official Audax ride (Farr from Elgin) cycling 133 miles (his longest ride to date) in April 2024 and has been inspired to sign up for more. In June 2024 he will be cycling the Rift Icleand, a 124 mile gravel event circling Hekla, an active stratovolcano in the south of the country.
